BJ ENERGY INTL’s Two Agrophotovoltaic Projects in Shandong Connected to Grid for Power Generation

On December 31, 2023, the 200MW (70MW Phase I) agrophotovoltaic project of Beijing Energy International in Huangshanpu, Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province and the 50MW agrophotovoltaic project in Ertun, Decheng District, Dezhou City, Shandong Province were smoothly connected to the grid for power generation, which will provide strong support for the high-quality development of new energy industry in the province.




The company’s 200MW (70MW Phase I) agrophotovoltaic project in Huangshanpu, Yishui County, Linyi, Shandong Province is the first on-grid project independently invested by the company in Linyi, Shandong Province. The project is located in Yishui County, Linyi City, Shandong Province, and adopts the agrophotovoltaic mode. In the photovoltaic area, high-efficiency single-crystal double-sided 550Wp and high-efficiency single-crystal single-sided 670Wp power generation photovoltaic modules are installed, covering an effective area of about 1,883 mu (around 125.4 hectares). The installed capacity of the project (Phase I) is 70MW. By adopting the complementary mode, the land can be effectively utilized and local agricultural economy can be significantly improved.




After the project is put into operation, it generates 86.368 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving 31,100 tons of standard coal and reducing 81,500 tons of carbon dioxide annually. It has remarkable economic and social benefits and contributes to the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system in Shandong.

The 50MW agrophotovoltaic project in Ertun, Decheng District, Dezhou, Shandong Province is the first on-grid project independently invested by the company in Dezhou, Shandong Province. The project covers an area of 1,300 mu (about 86.58 hectares), with a total installed capacity of 50MW. The project makes full use of local agricultural resources, adopts the agrophotovoltaic mode in design and construction, and actively promotes the diversified development of local agriculture.




After the project is put into operation, it can produce 69.44 million kWh of green electricity annually, and about 23,900 tons of standard coal will be saved and 64,700 tons of carbon dioxide emissions will be reduced each year, which will further promote the high-quality development of clean energy industry in Dezhou and facilitate the transformation and upgrading of local energy structure.
