The Distributed Photovoltaic Project of BJ ENERGY INTL at the Yizhuang OBE Innovation Park Was Registered
Time:2024-04-17

On April 17, the distributed photovoltaic project of Beijing Energy International at the Yizhuang OBE Innovation Park was successfully registered, marking another achievement of the company in the field of distributed photovoltaics in Beijing.

The project is located in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (or Beijing E-Town), with a total installed capacity of approximately 0.601 MW. It adopts a “self-use with excess electricity uploading to the grid” mode and is expected to commence construction in October 2024, with grid-connected electricity generation by the end of the year. Once operational, it is estimated to produce approximately 620,000 kWh of green electricity annually, saving about 192 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 599 tons. The cumulative registered capacity of distributed photovoltaic projects in Beijing E-Town has now surpassed 10 MW, marking a significant milestone towards achieving regional-scale effects. This achievement is instrumental in fostering the optimization of the energy structure and driving the green transformation within the E-Town.
