On March 16, Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd. and Sichuan Chuantou Energy Co., Ltd. held talks in Shenzhen and signed the cooperation framework agreement on Sichuan-Tibet hydropower development. The meeting and signing ceremony was attended by Chairman of the Board Zhang Ping and President Zhu Jun of Beijing Energy International and Yang Hong, Secretary of the CPC Committee, Vice Chairman and General Manager of Sichuan Chuantou Energy.

At the meeting, the two sides agreed that they would further deepen their cooperation intentions on the basis of the preliminary communication, give full play to their respective expertise, come up with more detailed work plan, formulate a milestone program, and go all out to accelerate the joint development of Sichuan-Tibet high-quality hydropower resources. Taking the cooperation as the starting point, the two sides will carry out all-round cooperation in new energy and integrated energy including wind power and photovoltaic power in the southwest region, actively explore in-depth cooperation at the equity level between listed companies, forge strategic partnerships, and make concerted efforts towards a win-win situation.

The meeting was attended by Vice Presidents Huang Hui and Jia Geng, and Investment Director Zhao Li of Beijing Energy International, and CPC Committee Member and Chief Financial Officer Liu Hao, Board Secretary Gong Yuan, and Office Director Guo Mengxia of Sichuan Chuantou Energy.
