On June 4, 2021, Deputy Party Committee Secretary Liu Guoxi, and Vice Presidents Huang Hui and Wang Liuhu of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd. met at the company’s Beijing headquarters with a delegation headed by Zhou Wenhui, Deputy Secretary of Ruoqiang County Party Committee of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Executive Deputy County head. Liu Guoxi and Huang Hui respectively introduced the development history, current operating status, and future plans of Beijing Energy and Beijing Energy International. Wang Liuhu said that Xinjiang has always been a key area for the development of Beijing Energy International, and its clean energy industry has great potential in the process of achieving the country’s “3060 Goals”. He said, as Ruoqiang County is located in Xinjiang’s transportation hub with good geographical location and rich wind, solar and water resources, he hoped that the two sides will work together in the future to take the development and construction of clean energy projects in Ruoqiang County as an opportunity to help promote Xinjiang’s high-quality economic development.
Zhou Wenhui said that Xinjiang, benefiting from the economic development of the Belt and Road Initiative, is in a period of historical opportunity for rapid development. The electricity demand continues to grow. With the advantage of rich natural resources, Ruoqiang County is accelerating the introduction of strategic partners and the development of clean energy industrial clusters.
