On the afternoon of July 16, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd., and his colleagues visited Fu Xiujun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction Company (hereinafter referred to as “China Energy Engineering Group Tianjin Electric Power Construction”). The two sides held talks on speeding up strategic cooperation.

At the meeting, the two sides had an in-depth exchange on the model of cooperation, and reached an agreement on advancing the coordination and cooperation of the participating parties.

Zhang Ping pointed out that as a place for pilot reform of the state-owned enterprises based on the market mechanism, Beijing Energy International is currently embarking on rapid and high-quality development. Since the signing of the cooperation framework agreement in March, the two sides have conducted multiple rounds of discussions on the content and paths of cooperation, hoping to further enhance the communication and contact mechanisms, deliver good top-level design, effectively launch a new model of multi-party cooperation, and give full play to each party’s strengths in business field, brand, and market as well as the geographical advantages of being located in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area. He looked forward to further accelerating the effective implementation of cooperation results and establishing a more diverse and flexible institution and organization, so as to seize the initiative and gain mutual benefit in the rapidly-changing market and contribute to the overall strategic landscape of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei coordinated development.

Fu Xiujun welcomed Zhang Ping and pointed out that China Energy Engineering Group is currently vigorously implementing the three-year action of state-owned enterprises reform. As a traditional power engineering company, Tianjin Electric Power Construction is actively seeking and adapting to changes and speeding up transformation from multiple aspects such as the main business and the construction of adaptive organizations. As Tianjin Electric Power Construction and Beijing Energy International have a good cooperative foundation, his company will provide further support and actively promote cooperation between the two sides in the hope of leveraging the existing solid foundation of mutual trust to jointly explore and improve the cooperation model and seize the opportunity of the “3060” target so as to achieve new development on the basis of improvement in their respective business.
