From August 19 to August 20, 2021, Yunxi County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province held the “Cloud Talks: Yunxi City Promotion Conference & Online Signing Ceremony”. The two sides held talks about the development and construction of new energy in Yunxi County and signed a strategic investment framework agreement. The meeting was also attended by Party Committee Secretary Zha Hong, County Chief Wang Bing, and Executive Deputy County Chief Hu Yong of Yunxi County, Shiyan City, Hubei Province, Chairman of the Board Zhang Ping, Vice President Jia Geng, and Investment Director Zhao Li of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd.
At the online meeting, Zhang Ping introduced Beijing Energy International’s planning and development, strengths, and investment plans. He said that Yunxi County enjoys remarkable regional advantages, rich wind, solar and hydro power resources, and excellent business environment. He is full of confidence in investing in Yunxi and seeking long-term development there while also providing services. He said his company will give full play to its strengths and speed up to put in place investment in distributed photovoltaic power generation, wind power, centralized photovoltaic power generation, pumped storage, GSHP central heating and cooling, etc. and build benchmarking projects, so as to contribute to Yunxi County’s clean energy industrial upgrading at an early date and provide the solution and wisdom of Beijing Energy International to help the county achieve the goal of peaking carbon emission and reaching carbon neutrality as soon as possible.
Hu Yong gave a detailed introduction of the clean energy construction and development plan of Yunxi County.
Zha Hong thanked Beijing Energy International for participating in the key investment project promotion event. Affected by the epidemic, the two sides had to meet online to discuss development plans, which was of great significance. He pointed out that Beijing Energy International enjoys remarkable strengths, leading expertise and trustworthiness. He welcomed the company’s new energy development and construction in Yunxi County, and expressed his hope that through this meeting, the implementation of the company’s new energy projects can be accelerating. By setting a benchmark, and creating high-quality development, the whole Yunxi County can be influenced to form all-round cooperation.
At the site of the ceremony, Jia Geng, on behalf of Beijing Energy International, signed the New Energy Project Strategic Investment Framework Agreement with the People’s Government of Yunxi County, and signed the Investment Cooperation Agreement the Sunshine Industrial Poverty Alleviation Development Co., Ltd. of Yunxi County.
Bordering the Qinling Mountains in the north and the Jianghan Plain in the south, Yunxi County is located at a strategically important place of Hubei. It is a county with advantages in clean energy resources of Hubei Province. Amid fierce competition for new energy investment and construction, the strategic investment cooperation marks progress in the current stage of the development of major projects, laying a good foundation for the further implementation of follow-up results.
