On November 5, 2021, Beijing Energy International signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with Vestas China. The attending representatives included Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board, Jia Geng, Vice President, and Guo Liang, General Manager of Overseas Business Department Beijing Energy International; Thomas Keller, Senior Vice President of Vestas and President of Vestas China, He Xiaotong, Vice President, and Jia Shuo, Senior Sales Director of Vestas China. The signing ceremony was held through video link, and the above representatives attended from Beijing and Shanghai.
During the ceremony, Zhang Ping and Thomas Keller respectively delivered a speech on signing of the agreement. The two sides expressed full confidence in deepening, upscaling and enriching their cooperation as well as making innovations to boost projects between the two sides.
According to the agreement, the two sides will foster a long-term strategic partnership, leverage their respective strengths in industrial layout, technology research and development, establish a regular exchange mechanism of development, production and technology, jointly develop domestic onshore wind power projects and large base projects, deepen the cooperation of wind farm operation and maintenance, promote deeper cooperation in offshore wind power projects globally, and contribute to the development of new energy.
