Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International was invited to attend the Yunnan Industrial Cooperation Symposium under the theme of “sharing new opportunities for green development and building a new platform for open cooperation”, which was held on December 3, 2021. During the event, he signed an investment cooperation agreement with Yunnan Academy of Science and Technology on behalf of the company. He Lianghui, Vice Governor of Yunnan Province, Xu Jian, Vice President of Yunnan Academy of Science and Technology, Lei Muchuan, General Manager of Southwest Branch Company of Beijing Energy International and other relevant personnel attended the signing ceremony.
This symposium is a very important meeting to promote the green energy industry in Yunnan Province, which has far-reaching influence on the future development of energy in the Province.
Based
on friendly negotiation between both parties, Beijing Energy International
plans to invest in smart photovoltaic power generation, modern agricultural
industry chain, development demonstration base of the primary, secondary and tertiary
industrial clusters in Yunnan Province. The planned construction capacity of
the projects will be achieved in two phases, with a total planned investment of
about 7 billion yuan, with new tax payment of over 705 million yuan per year
and 500 new jobs. Under the agreement, they will build a platform for the
transfer and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, carry
out pragmatic cooperation in many fields such as incubating cutting-edge
technologies and new products such as hydrogen and energy storage, extend
industrial clusters from the supply side to the user side, effectively
integrate project operation with ecology, further improve the efficiency of
production, operation, maintenance and energy utilization, and promote the
transfer and transformation of technologies in photovoltaic, hydrogen and
liquid methanol and cultivate other relevant projects. The two parties will
jointly boost local green energy industry and contribute to the development
goals of the 14th Five-Year Plan and the economic and social
development of Yunnan Province.
