On May 16, 2023, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, met with Liu Haitao, party secretary of Shangzhi Municipal Committee of Heilongjiang Province, in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in new energy.

During the meeting, Zhang Ping welcomed Liu Haitao and his delegation and introduced the business development and future planning of Beijing Energy International. He said that the company attaches great importance to project cooperation with Shangzhi Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government and will fully use its own advantages in accelerating the Hedong 200MW wind power project in Shangzhi of Heilongjiang and build it into an exemplary demonstration project. He hoped that the Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government will render all-round policy support to promote the project to blossom and bear fruits as soon as possible.

Liu Haitao thanked Beijing Energy International for its strong support for the development of new energy industry in Shangzhi. He said that the city and the company have established a good foundation for cooperation. It is hoped that both local government and enterprises will further deepen mutual trust, strengthen communication mechanisms, open up cooperation space in clean energy, integrated energy and rural revitalization, and work hand in hand for common development to elevate Heilongjiang’s green and low-carbon transformation and development to a new level.
