On June 29, 2023, Zhang Ping, chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, met with Huang Jinxian, president and CEO of Singapore’s Sembcorp Industries in Beijing. The two sides exchanged on cooperation in clean energy.

At the meeting, the two sides introduced the strategic objectives of their respective business development and had in-depth exchanges on the continuous cooperation in the follow-up development and business expansion. It is agreed that both companies have been committed to promoting the development of sustainable energy, and actively seeking to establish cooperative relations with leading partners in the industry to accelerate energy innovation and green transformation. In the past, the cooperation between the two sides has achieved good results. In the future, they will deepen on the basis of existing cooperation, jointly explore new opportunities in energy innovation, and further open all-round cooperation across new energy industry chain, such as large-scale new energy projects at home and abroad as well as integration projects of hydrogen and ammonia production with green electricity, and work together to build higher level of sustainable energy supply.
