On February 5, Liu Guoxi, party secretary and chairman of the Trade Union of Beijing Energy International, met with Zhou Liangyuan, party secretary of Mujiayu Township in Mujiayu, Miyun District, Beijing. The two sides exchanged on the Dayan 100MW photovoltaic project in Mujiayu. Li Haisheng, town chief of Mujiayu, and Zheng Xiaoshuang, deputy town chief; vice president Huang Hui and vice president Jia Geng of Beijing Energy International, and Liu Yingjie, general manager of North China Branch Company attended the meeting.

Zhou Liangyuan welcomed Liu Guoxi and his entourage and introduced Mujiayu’s progress plan and objectives for the project in 2024. He said that the town will extend full cooperation, support and service for the project, and strive to build it into a demonstration project that practices eco-friendliness policy for the realization of the dual carbon goal.

Liu Guoxi thanked the Mujiayu Government for its strong support to the company and stressed that the company must strengthen communication between the two sides, fully implement the project, solve key problems, and go through relevant formalities in accordance with laws and regulations, so as to make it a model and benchmark for mine restoration and new energy development in Beijing and deliver socioeconomic benefits.
