On May 9 at 18:11, with the successful power transmission of the No. 1 main transformer of Beijing Energy International’s Tongliao Gaolin 500kV Substation for the fifth time, it marked the successful power transmission of the 500kV collection booster station of the company’s Tongliao 2.38 million-kilowatt wind power base project, which is the second batch of national large-scale wind power and photovoltaic base projects focusing on the desert, gobi and barren land area.
The 2.38 million-kilowatt wind power base project supporting 500kV collection station project, which completed this power transmission, is the first 500kV voltage level substation of the company. The project has a total investment of 410 million yuan and plans to build 2 units of 1,500MVA main transformers. One outgoing feeder is connected to the state grid Zhurihe 500kV booster station, and 8 incoming feeders of 220kV are completed in this phase. The construction difficulty is high, and the technical requirements are demanding.
After the completion of the 500kV collection booster station project, it will fully meet the large-scale external power transmission demand of the new energy of Tongliao’s 2.38 million-kilowatt wind power project, providing green and high-quality power support for regional development, realizing the large-scale optimization configuration of clean energy, and the project is expected to produce 7.5 billion kWh of clean electricity annually, saving 2.61 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 6.34 million tons.
