Recently, Beijing Energy International won the bid for the Shunyi District China International Exhibition Centre (CIEC) Integrated Energy Project in Beijing. This marks the company’s first major energy-saving project for public buildings in Beijing, signifying another breakthrough in promoting integrated development within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The project will be developed under an energy performance contracting model and includes the construction of approximately 11MW of distributed photovoltaic systems, a smart energy management platform, and an energy automation control system. It aims to provide clients with high-quality energy-saving and carbon reduction services. By integrating various energy technologies such as cooling, heating, electricity, and intelligent systems, the project achieves comprehensive utilization and optimal allocation of multiple energy sources. This maximizes energy savings for the owner and increases the proportion of clean energy use. Once operational, the project is expected to generate approximately 12.28 million kWh of green electricity annually, save around 3,642 tons of standard coal, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 10,000 tons. This will further promote the energy transition and economic development of Beijing.
