On August 23, Kan Xing, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of Beijing Energy Holding (BEH), along with Vice President Zhang Fengyang, visited the Southwest Branch of Beijing Energy International, a subsidiary of BEH, to conduct research and provide guidance. A meeting was also held during the visit.
During the meeting, Kan Xing and other executives listened to presentations from the Southwest Branch of Beijing Energy International on business development, project construction, safe production, operational management, and team building. Kan Xing provided specific requirements for the next steps in the work.
He praised the achievements of Beijing Energy International, which were accomplished by promoting entrepreneurial spirit and fully unleashing the vitality of the institutional mechanisms. Regarding the next steps for the Southwest Branch, he emphasized the following points:
1. Team Building: Emphasize the importance of leading a strong team by implementing the “Five Fine Management” and building a team of “Three Basics and Nine Strengths”. The goal is to build a strongly competitive team that is capable of accomplishing challenging tasks, highly efficient in implementation, and exhibits excellent work ethics. Additionally, focus on being people-oriented, enhancing employee training, and improving their skills and competencies;
2. Digital Transformation: Accelerate the digital transformation and strengthen the full-process management of project construction. Evaluate the construction results using the “Five Fine Management” standards to help the company achieve cost reduction and efficiency gains;
3. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Promote innovation and proactive exploration, with a firm focus on the company’s strategic development direction. Further enhance the market insight of professional managers and focus on cultivating backup talent, enabling the company to gain an advantage in the fierce market competition;
4. Institutional Mechanisms: Ensure the full utilization of the advantages of institutional mechanisms. Implement effective management that is performance-oriented, fostering new vitality, creativity, and cohesion; and
5. Self-Discipline: Continuously improve self-discipline, with the executives taking the lead in adhering to rules and maintaining strict self-discipline. Pay attention to conduct beyond working hours and set a good example to create a clean and upright working environment.
