BJ ENERGY INTL Completes Registration for Machangying Distributed Photovoltaic Project in Pinggu, Beijing
Time:2024-09-12

On September 11, Beijing Energy International successfully completed the registration for its 5.99 MW distributed photovoltaic project in Machangying Town, Pinggu District, Beijing.

The project, located in Qianruiying Village, utilizes the upper space of around 95.5 acres of agricultural facilities managed by Beijing Guangyuan Yanwei Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. The total installed capacity of the distributed photovoltaic system is approximately 5.99 MW, employing a “self-consumption with excess electricity uploading to the grid” model. The green electricity generated by the distributed photovoltaic system will be used for agricultural production. Once operational, the project is expected to produce approximately 8.14 million kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 2,498 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 7,811 tons. This will further support Beijing’s energy transition and economic development, contributing to the earlier attainment of the capital city’s dual carbon goals.
