On October 24, Beijing Energy International successfully completed the registration for its integrated energy project in the Shunyi District of Beijing. The photovoltaic project has a recorded capacity of 12 MW, making it the largest single rooftop distributed photovoltaic project in Beijing and the company’s first exhibition-related integrated energy project.
This project provides customized integrated energy services to clients, meeting their demands for energy conservation, smart energy solutions, and green electricity. By implementing measures such as energy-efficient lighting, automated control upgrades, and end-user optimization, the project effectively reduces energy consumption. A new smart energy management platform has been established to control the entire energy system and manage carbon emissions. Additionally, a distributed photovoltaic power generation system has been built on unused rooftops, laying a solid foundation for subsequent green building applications. Once completed, the project is expected to generate an average of approximately 12.7 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity and energy savings annually, equivalent to saving 3,642 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 10,000 tons. This will further promote energy transformation and economic development in the capital city.
