On November 7, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, visited Tokyo, Japan, to meet with Hidetake Takahashi, Member of the Board of Directors, Senior Managing Executive Officer of ORIX Group. The two sides engaged in discussions regarding company strategy and explored avenues for expanding collaboration.
During the meeting, both parties shared updates on their business developments and future plans. They exchanged views on Beijing Energy International’s ongoing key projects in development, mergers and acquisitions, and opportunities for overseas cooperation. Both parties agreed that the two companies are leaders in their respective fields and share a solid foundation for collaboration. They noted extensive potential for partnership, particularly in areas like renewable energy. They expressed hopes to deepen mutual trust, enhance communication, and continue fostering pragmatic cooperation in areas such as overseas renewable energy projects, integrated energy, hydrogen and ammonia production from green electricity, and asset management. Through the stronger synergy, they aim to drive forward the global transition to green and low-carbon energy.
The meeting was attended by ORIX Group’s Executive Director and Head of ORIX Greater China Li Hao, Co-President of OCIH Xu Yan, President of ORIX Asia Asset Management Zhang Yingnan, and Beijing Energy International’s Vice President Huang Hui and Vice President Wu Chaoke, among other relevant personnel.
