On December 5, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, led a delegation to Jinan, Shandong, where they visited Li Wei, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shandong Energy Group Co., Ltd. (SDE). Both sides held discussions on deepening cooperation. 

At the meeting, Li Wei welcomed the delegation and introduced the main business and future plans of SDE. He noted that Beijing Energy International, as a key platform for clean energy investment with international and market-oriented goals under Beijing Energy Holding (BEH), has shown strong development momentum and significant achievements. He highlighted the strong alignment between SDE and BEH, which creates vast opportunities for collaboration. Li expressed the hope that both parties would fully capitalize on their respective strengths, improve communication channels, broaden areas of cooperation, facilitate resource sharing, accelerate the development of both traditional and new energy sources, and expedite the implementation of joint projects, ultimately achieving mutual growth through complementary advantages.

Zhang Ping expressed gratitude for SDE’s strong support for Beijing Energy International. He emphasized that SDE, as a leading player in the energy sector, stands out for its strong core business, well-structured industrial layout, and leadership in high-quality and international development. He expressed the hope that both parties would continue their successful cooperation, strengthen communication, and establish a comprehensive cooperation framework. He also proposed deepening collaboration in areas such as coal resource development, power, new energy, and international expansion, working together to advance green, low-carbon, and high-quality development.

The meeting was also attended by Vice President Liu Dongsheng and Vice President Wu Chaoke of Beijing Energy International, among other relevant personnel.
