On December 17, Beijing Energy International’s independently developed liquid-cooled battery boxes and battery clusters successfully obtained the GB/T 36276-2023 “Lithium-ion Batteries for Power Storage” type testing report. This marks the national recognition of the company’s independent research and development capabilities in the energy storage technology field, and its energy storage products are now officially qualified for market sales.
The research and development equipment underwent comprehensive testing by an independent third-party testing agency accredited with CNAS, covering multiple dimensions such as electrical performance, environmental adaptability, durability, and safety performance of the battery box and battery clusters. The test results showed that the company’s independently designed energy storage products performed excellently in core key tests, including electrical performance, cycle and storage durability, short circuit, overcharging, over-discharging, and thermal runaway, meeting the stringent requirements of the new national standard. Moreover, the products demonstrated exceptional performance in core safety technical indicators.
The successful certification of the products signifies that the company, under its dual core principles of “investment safety and production safety,” is fully capable of developing both domestic and international markets from a technological standpoint. With excellent performance ensuring the operation of energy storage systems throughout their lifecycle, the company has laid a strong technical foundation for entering the market.
Moving forward, Beijing Energy International will continue to focus on energy storage technology research and development, enhance technological accumulation, and create industry-leading energy storage products and standards. This will support the company’s expansion into overseas markets and actively empower its international growth strategy.
