On March 27, Beijing Energy International’s 30MW photovoltaic project at Mujiayu Mine in Miyun District, Beijing, was successfully registered at the Miyun District Development and Reform Commission. This marks another significant step forward in the company’s green energy development strategy in the capital.
The project, located in Mujiayu Town, Miyun District, has an installed capacity of 30MW. Once operational, it is expected to generate approximately 34 million kWh of clean, green energy annually—equivalent to saving around 10,260 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 29,780 tons. This project will further enhance the local ecosystem, revitalize abandoned mining areas, and boost regional economic growth, accelerating Beijing’s progress toward its dual carbon goals.
