Beijing Energy International’s Wollar 346MW photovoltaic project in New South Wales, Australia, is the company’s first PV project in Australia and the largest overseas PV project of Beijing Energy Holding (BEH). The project includes a 330kV step-up substation, 5,400 flat single-axis tracking brackets, 60,480 double-glass bifacial PV modules, 3,600 string inverters, 58 medium-voltage transformers, and 12 circuits of 33kV collector lines. Upon grid connection, it is expected to generate about 546 GWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to saving 164,000 tons of standard coal and reducing CO₂ emissions by nearly 400,000 tons. The project delivers strong environmental and social benefits, contributes to optimizing the local energy structure, and supports the global transition to clean and low-carbon energy.
