On March 24, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd., met with Zhang Keling, the head of Qingshuihe County, Hohhot City and his colleagues at the company to exchange ideas on project development cooperation. The meeting was attended by the company’s Vice Presidents Jia Geng and Wang Liuhu, Investment Director Zhao Li, and Inner Mongolia Regional Company General Manager Liu Lei, Qingshuihe County CPPCC Chairman Du Guizhong, Deputy County head Li Jun, Office Director Zhao Jianjun of the Qingshuihe County Government, Development and Reform Commission Director Jiao Qian of the county.





At the meeting, Zhang Ping extended a warm welcome to Zhang Keling and his colleagues, and introduced the development status and future plan of Beijing Energy International. He said that as Inner Mongolia enjoys good investment environment and rich wind and solar resources, the company has always regarded investment and development in Inner Mongolia as a priority and is ready to join hands with the Qingshuihe County People’s Government to think more innovatively and build on the momentum to enhance the construction of new energy projects in a sustained way based on the 100MW photovoltaic power generation project integrating comprehensive development and utilization of ecological animal husbandry in Qingshuihe County and taking the opportunity of joint equity investment, so as to contribute to the high-quality development of Hohhot’s new energy industry.

Zhang Keling said that during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Qingshuihe County will seize the historic development opportunities of the new energy industry, use convenient power transmission channels, and increase the development of new energy projects. As Beijing Energy International enjoys leading expertise and flexible mechanisms, he looks forward to cooperating with the company. By taking into account relevant policies such as poverty alleviation, rural revitalization, and tourism, and using land resources such as mine goaf and desert areas, the two sides can enhance cooperation in the fields of poverty alleviation through developing photovoltaic, and complementation of agriculture and photovoltaic power, and actively promote feasible action plans in concerted efforts to contribute to the early realization of the goal of “achieving peak in carbon emission and realizing carbon neutrality” in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
