On May 21, 2021, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International Holdings Co., Ltd., and his colleagues went to Baoding to visit Miao Liansheng, founder and holding president of Yingli Group. The two sides had discussions and exchanges on new energy business landscape and cooperation. The meeting was also attended by Yingli Group’s Party Committee Secretary and General Manager Zheng Xiaoqiang, and Deputy General Manager and General Manager of Yingli Energy Technology Group Liu Dingtao, Beijing Energy International’s Vice President Jia Geng and Investment Director Zhao Li.
At the meeting, Miao Liansheng expressed a warm welcome to Zhang Ping and his colleagues, and introduced Yingli Group’s development history, industrial landscape, domestic and foreign photovoltaic project development, and BIPV business development. He said that Yingli Group is willing to cooperate with Beijing Energy International in an in-depth manner, give full play to their respective resource and technological advantages, innovate cooperation models, and achieve mutual development.
Zhang Ping spoke highly of Yingli Group’s contribution to the development of the photovoltaic industry, and introduced Beijing Energy International’s development and future planning. He said that during the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, the new energy industry represented by solar and solar energy storage will develop more rapidly. The two sides share similar development pace and goals in photovoltaic power generation and integrated energy at home and abroad. He said Beijing Energy International is willing to cooperate with Yingli Group in the development of photovoltaic projects, BIPV and other fields to explore cooperation channels, forge strategic partnerships, and realize win-win cooperation based on the strong alliance.
Before the meeting, Zhang Ping and his colleagues also visited the Yingli Exhibition Hall to learn about Yingli Group’s product research and development, process technology, Party building culture, etc., and toured around the BIPV demonstration buildings in the factory of Yingli Group.
