On October 18, 2021, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International met with Li Bing, President of Sembcorp (China) Investment and Hu Jing, Vice President of Asia Bulk Project Business Development of Air Products (China) Investment in Beijing, and they had in-depth exchanges on new energy base construction, hydrogen production and strategic cooperation in new energy business. Lu Yun, Assistant Vice President of Semcorp China, Gu Xiaodong, Vice President of Business Development of Air Products (China) Investment, Liu Dongsheng, Huang Hui, Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, Zhao Li, Director of Investment, Guo Liang, General Manager of Overseas Business Department and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Zhang Ping welcomed Li Bing, Hu Jing and their delegations, and introduced current operation and development plan of Beijing Energy International and the project of “Green Power to Beijing”, a new energy base integrating wind, light and storage. He said that Air Products (China) had a professional application team with rich experience that can provide differentiated hydrogen supply and customized technical solutions for different industries and scenarios. He hoped that the two sides would strengthen their alignment, share resources and develop hydrogen production and integrate light and storage in the new energy base.
Hu Jing introduced the development course and future plan of Air Products (China) Investment. She said that Beijing Energy International, as a professional international clean energy investor and operator, was amid a period of high-quality and rapid development. Both sides were highly aligned on the investment and development of new energy and green hydrogen and hoped to establish a long-term strategic relationship through hydrogen production business in new energy base, innovation and development, and thus contribute to the dual carbon goal.
During the meeting, Zhang Ping and Li Bing also held an in-depth exchange on strategic cooperation in new energy business, which would underpin their future cooperation.
