On November 4, 2021, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International visited Liang Zhengping, Party Secretary and Chairman of North China Power Engineering Company(NCPEC), China Energy Engineering Group Planning and Engineering Co., Ltd(CPE). The two sides had in-depth exchanges on new energy and integrated energy and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. Wang Rong, Deputy Secretary and General Manager of NCPEC, Li Yinan, Deputy Secretary and General Manager of Party Committee, Cao Yaling, Deputy Chief Engineer and General Manager of System Planning Department, Nie Hengkuan, General Manager of Power Generation Engineering Department, Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International, Jia Geng, Wang Liuhu, Vice President, Zhao Li, Investment Director, Li Xijun, General Manager of Beijing Energy International Comprehensive Energy Company and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Liang Zhengping welcomed Zhang Ping and his delegation, and introduced the development philosophy and business of NCPEC. He said that in face of the historic development opportunities of new energy, NCPEC had always pursued innovative development based on the company’s development strategy, resources, and planning and consulting services, energy base and comprehensive new energy projects. He reviewed that NCPEC and Beijing Energy International had always been strategic partners, maintaining a long-term friendly and trusty relationship. He mentioned that Beijing Energy International had developed rapidly and achieved remarkable results in the one and a half years since its establishment, and that the two sides were highly complementary in their business portfolio. Liang Zhengping expressed the hope to take the opportunity of signing the framework agreement to strengthen cooperation and promote projects in new energy, comprehensive energy and hydrogen production, and achieve mutual success and win-win.

Zhang Ping introduced the development strategy and planning objectives of Beijing Energy International. He said that since its establishment, Beijing Energy International had been committed to high-quality and rapid development and had always been well known for its rapid development and good reputation with flexible mechanism. He agreed that the development concepts and goals of the two sides were highly compatible, and there would be a wide range of business opportunities. He hoped that both sides would draw on their technical strength, expertise, market and resource advantages, to expediate the existing projects, focus on Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and surrounding areas, maintain a long-term strategic partnership in distributed energy, comprehensive energy and energy base project, set up a regular exchange mechanism and jointly expand the scope of cooperation at home and abroad.

The two sides signed a strategic cooperation agreement, according to which they would jointly carry out the application of advanced clean energy technologies in clean energy systems, and fully cooperate in new energy project, distributed energy, regional comprehensive energy and other fields to promote green and clean development of energy industry.
