Recently, the 100MW agricultural solar lighting demonstration project of Beijing Energy International in Tanmen, Qionghai, Hainan Province was approved.

The project is the first new energy project of Beijing Energy International in Hainan and the first truly agrophotovoltaic project. It is located in Suqu Village, Tanmen Town, Qionghai City, where the famous revolutionary Qiongya Column and the Red Women’s Detachment once fought.

The project is a standard agricultural solar lighting project with obvious social, environmental and economic demonstration benefits. After the project is put into operation, it can produce about 140 million kilowatt-hours of clean green electric annually and can provide a variety of high-quality green leafy vegetables to local areas, enrich the vegetable basket of local residents, realize the common development of local areas and enterprises, and create a new way for photovoltaic enterprises to increase additional income.

The project will be kicked off as soon as possible according to the expectations of the local government to ensure its early completion. In the future, Beijing Energy International will further intensify the development of clean energy projects in Hainan.
