On February 11, 2022, Jia Geng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International met with Zhang Quanbin, member of the Standing Committee of Yingshan County Committee of Huanggang City, Hubei Province, and the two sides had an in-depth exchange on the cooperation of new energy projects in the county. During the meeting, Jia Geng extended a warm welcome to Zhang Quanbin and his delegation and introduced the current business and development plan of Beijing Energy International. He said that Yingshan County had sound transportation facilities, remarkable scenic and location advantages, and the company was committed to building a first-class international clean energy provider and green investor and operator amid high-quality and rapid development. He pointed out that it was ready to actively carry out local investment and construction in photovoltaic, wind power and distributed energy by replying on local industrial resources. He stressed that it would help upgrade local clean energy industry, boost local rural revitalization and the early attainment of its dual carbon goals.
As the county is connected to Wuhan City Circle in the west and Wanjiang Economic Belt in the east, and is famous for tea, medicinal materials and hot springs, it enjoys eminent resource advantages during the rapid urban development. He mentioned that Beijing Energy International had scored remarkable development in the past two years and welcomed the company to capitalize on its technological and professional advantages to further invest in clean energy locally. He pointed out that the county government would do its best to provide services and support and hoped to see the quicker landing of the project. He hoped that the bilateral cooperation could extend to culture, tourism, health care to promote common development, and enable the county to achieve its dual carbon goal at an early date.
