On February 16, 2022, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International, and Li Bing, President of Sembcorp (China) and their delegations met Zou Shengping, Party Secretary and Chairman of PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction, and the three parties had an exchange on in-depth business cooperation in new energy. At the outset, Zou Shengping extended a warm welcome to Zhang Ping, Li Bing and the delegations, and introduced the current business and future planning of Jiangxi Electric Power Construction. He said that the company had always maintained a strategic cooperative relationship with Beijing Energy International based on mutual trust and mutual support, and the bilateral cooperation was effective and fruitful. He hoped that the two sides would carry out more in-depth and extensive cooperation in new energy and integrated energy. He stressed that Sembcorp (China) had always been in the forefront of new energy investment and construction at home and abroad, with which he hoped to partner with, and that the three parties would cooperate across the broad for common development.

Li Bing introduced that one of the main businesses of Sembcorp (China) was to develop high-efficiency, low-emission and renewable resource power generation business, which highly aligned with the investment philosophy of Beijing Energy International with which he highly recognized its pioneering ability and remarkable development. Both sides intend to promote cooperation in new energy and green hydrogen, project strategic investment among other areas. Jiangxi Electric Power Construction is also a strategic partner of Beijing Energy International, and it is hoped that the three parties will further strengthen communication and deepen cooperation in new energy.

Zhang Ping introduced the current business and future planning of Beijing Energy International. He said that Jiangxi Electric Power Construction was one of the most important partners of the company, and Sembcorp (China) was a potential partner going forward. With similar concept and huge cooperation space, he hoped that the three sides should formulate milestone plans for the ongoing projects and push for progress. According to him, they should build on past cooperation and foster market-oriented operation in their new energy base projects, energy storage, hydrogen production and new energy industry chain construction, and should be open-minded, pioneer in innovation and development, and work together for win-win cooperation.
