Recently, Liu Dongsheng, Vice President of Beijing Energy International visited Li Dongyu, Deputy Secretary General of Hainan provincial government. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on investment and construction of centralized agricultural photovoltaic, green new infrastructure, large-scale shared energy storage, offshore floating wind power and other projects.

During the meeting, Li Dongyu welcomed Liu Dongsheng and his delegation and said that full sport would be extended to Beijing Energy International in its investment and construction of clean energy projects in Hainan. It is hoped that Beijing Energy International will innovate and develop rural photovoltaic, build a zero-carbon community demonstration project, actively explore a green and low-carbon development model with deep integration of dual carbon goal as well as the rural revitalization strategy, and facilitate the project to be landed earlier.

Liu Dongsheng introduced the current business and future planning of Beijing Energy International at home and abroad. He said that as a pilot SOE for mixed-ownership reform in Beijing, the company enjoyed high-quality and rapid development by replying on its leading expertise and flexible mechanism and was willing to actively contribute to the energy construction for a low-carbon life. The company will speed up the formulation of the implementation plan of the investment, take advantage of the development advantages of Hainan Free Trade Port, bolster the investment and construction of the project, and contribute to the construction of the National Ecological Civilization Experimental Zone and Clean Energy Island.
