Wu Chaoke, VP of BJ ENERGY INTL Met with Li Bofeng, Secretary of Zhenglanqi Banner Committee of Xilingol League
On July 7, 2022, Wu Chaoke, vice president of Beijing Energy International visited Li Bofeng, secretary of the Zhenglanqi Banner Committee of Xilingol League in Inner Mongolia. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on promoting the large-scale green energy base project in the south of Xilingol League. Hugejiletu, member of the Standing Committee of the Banner Committee and executive deputy magistrate of the Banner; Hu Wenbo, business commissioner of Electric Power and New Energy Division of Energy Bureau, Xilingol League; Li Xinyi, head of China Investment and Investor Relations of Saudi’s ACWA Power; Baltsa, deputy general manager of the North Branch of Beijing Energy International, and other related personnel attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Li Bofeng extended a warm welcome to Wu Chaoke and his delegation, and introduced the basic situation of Zhenglanqi Banner, its development status and construction conditions of new energy industry. He said that hydrogen energy, as a key development direction of new energy industry in the future, is embracing rapid development. It is timely for the Banner government and the company to reach a consensus on green electricity hydrogen production project. Going forward, the Banner government will make every effort to create a high-quality investment environment, actively prepare for the large-scale green energy base project in the south of Xilingol League, and promote the early construction of the project, thus laying a solid foundation for local high-quality development and strengthening Beijing Energy International’s new energy business expansion.
Wu Chaoke thanked the Banner Committee and Banner Government for their long-term support to the company in project development. He said that the company has actively implemented national low-carbon and clean energy development strategy, promoted energy security and green development as a whole, and made unremitting efforts in exploring the development of hydrogen energy. Going forward, it will accelerate the development of large-scale green energy base project in the south of Xilingol League, closely communicate and sincerely cooperate with local authorities in innovating project development mode, deepening ecological environment management and enhancing local energy security, etc., to help the Banner build a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient new energy system at an early date, and elevate regional economic and social development to a new level.
