On July 12, 2022, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Beijing Energy International met with Miao Jun, Party Secretary and Chairman of Shanghai Electric in Beijing. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on business cooperation in wind power and integrated energy, etc. Wang Yong, Vice President of Shanghai Electric, Zhong Quanlong and Ma Wenyong, Deputy General Managers of Onshore Business Department, and Zhu Ouning, Customer Director of Onshore Business Department; Jia Geng and Wu Chaoke, Vice Presidents of Beijing Energy International, Zhao Li, Investment Director, He Kun, General Manager of Northeast Branch, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the two sides highlighted that Beijing Energy International focused on building a clean energy industry ecosystem featuring green and complementary development and smart integration and providing full life cycle services to energy customers on a global scale; and that Shanghai Electric focused on wind power, further expanded integrated energy and zero-carbon solution, and strived to achieve a new vision of “becoming the leader of offshore wind power and a player of onshore wind power”. The business development of both sides can complement each other effectively, and there is a promising prospect for future cooperation. They agreed to leverage their respective resources in talent, markets, industries, technologies, among others, to carry out all-round cooperation in wind power, integrated energy and new energy base development, establish a comprehensive strategic partnership, forge a long-term effective cooperative mechanism, and deliver mutual benefit and win-win results through synergy, so that they can contribute to the national goal of green development in energy sector.
