The Feasibility Study of the 200 MW And 400 MWH Shared Energy Storage Project in Gushan Town, Weihai Economic Development Zone in Shandong Passed Expert Review
On August 4, 2022, the expert review meeting of feasibility study of the 200 MW and 400 MWH Shared Energy Storage Project in Gushan Town, Weihai Economic Development Zone in Shandong Province organized by Beijing Energy International was held in Beijing. Relevant personnel from Shandong Electric Power Consulting Institute(SDEPCI), China Electric Power Research Institute, Beijing Energy International and other organizations attended the meeting in person or via a video link.
The feasibility study design results of this project were presented during the meeting, and the panel of experts agreed that the project adopted the advanced lithium battery energy storage route, and all parameters reached the domestic advanced level, and the project was in line with the national energy development strategy. This project prioritizes to serve the new energy development strategy in Shandong, and meanwhile, it plays an active role in ensuring regional power supply stability and driving local economic growth.
The evaluation expert group believed that the implementation plan was clear and the technical scheme was feasible and put forward recommendations and opinions on how to promote project construction. The meeting finally adopted the evaluation opinions.
