On September 24, 2022, Zhu Jun, President of Beijing Energy International met with Liu Zhiqiang, Secretary of the Alxa Zuoqi Banner Committee of Inner Mongolia. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in new energy, integration of source-grid-load-storage network. Gong Junlong, Vice Chairman, and Zhao Wei, President of Beijing’s KeyPower; Xie Haiming, Chairman of Jilin’s Dongchi Energy; Wu Chaoke, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, Fan Liyun, Engineering Director, Li Jian, leader of Hainan Investment Platform Preparatory Group, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

All parties agreed that the Alxa Zuoqi Banner has the advantages of location and resources and has great potential for new energy development. Beijing Energy International, KeyPower, Dongchi Energy and the Banner Government enjoy close ties in the past, with similar development concepts and huge cooperation space. On the basis of the signed strategic cooperation framework agreement of source-grid-load-storage project, they will give full play to their unique strengths in their respective fields, innovate cooperation modes, maintain long-term friendly strategic partnership, focus on new energy sources and integration of source-grid-load-storage network in the Banner, speed up the implementation of cooperation results, seek strong alliance and common development, help Inner Mongolia achieve green and low-carbon energy transformation and development, and contribute to the early realization of the national dual carbon goals.
