On September 29, 2022, the expert review meeting of the feasibility study report of 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage project in Toutang, Tianyang District, Baise, Guangxi, organized by Beijing Energy International was held in Beijing. Experts from Beijing Jingneng Technology Co., Ltd., Electric Power Planning and Design Institute, Wang Liuhu, Vice President of Beijing Energy International, Wang Qi, Executive Director of Beijing Jingneng International Integrated Smart Energy Company and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.
During the meeting, the participants listened to the feasibility study report on the design results of this project. All agreed that the 100MW/200MWh shared energy storage project in Baise adopted the advanced lithium battery energy storage route, and all indicators reached the domestic advanced level, in line with the national energy development strategy. The construction of this project meets the technical requirements of multi-energy complementation, greatly improves the peak-shaving capacity of local power grid and the flexibility of power system and can stabilize the operation of power grid.
The assessment expert panel believed that the implementation plan was clear and the technical scheme was feasible. It was affirmed that the company’s active planning and layout of energy storage industry was aligned with the storage allocation requirements of Guangxi for the 14th Five-Year Plan period, and put forward recommendations on site selection, cooling mode, fire fighting strategy, power grid balance, digital operation, economic calculation and other aspects. The meeting finally adopted the assessment recommendations.
