On November 21, 2022, Beijing Energy International signed an investment cooperation agreement with Jinjiang Energy Development Co., Ltd.(JED) and Zhonglei Shengya Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd.(ZSATD) in Chuxiong Prefecture, Yunnan Province. During the signing ceremony, Li Baojian, president of JED, Chen Yun, executive director of ZSATD, and Zhang Pengyuan, general manager of the Southwest Branch Company of Beijing Energy International signed the investment cooperation agreement on behalf of the three parties. After the signing, Liu Dongsheng, vice president of Beijing Energy International visited Chen Rui, member of the Standing Committee of Chuxiong Prefecture Committee and executive deputy governor. The two sides had an exchange on the signed project and the development of green and low-carbon energy in Chuxiong.

According to the agreement, based on the principle of “green development, complementary advantages, long-term and win-win cooperation”, the three parties will fully capitalize on their respective industry and resource advantages, jointly develop the green energy base project of Mouding County, cooperate in the development of photovoltaic energy, and build and operate photovoltaic power stations with an installed capacity of no less than 1GW. Going forward, the three parties will rely on their joint venture company to accelerate the implementation of cooperative projects and continue to deepen cooperation in new energy across the whole industrial chain for win-win results.
