On December 26, 2022, Beijing Energy International’s 50MW decentralized wind power project in Horqin District, Tongliao, Inner Mongolia was approved.

The project is located in Horqin District, Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with a total installed capacity of 50MW. It plans to install 8 wind turbines with a single unit capacity of 6,250 kW. The supporting projects include a new 66 kV booster station, with a total investment of about 372 million yuan. After the completion of the project, it can provide about 153 million kWh of green electricity and save 45,900 tons of standard coal every year, which will inject high-quality and abundant green energy for  regional economic and social development, create environmental, economic benefits and social benefits, and help Inner Mongolia achieve its dual carbon goal at an early date.
