At 11: 28 on January 16, 2023, the distributed photovoltaic project in Maquanying Section of Beijing Metro Line 15 was connected to power grid at full capacity.

The project is located in the maintenance depot of Maquanying Section of Beijing Metro Line 15 in Chaoyang District, with a total rooftop area of about 13,000 square meters and a total installed capacity of 1.2MW. After the project is launched into operation, it is estimated that the average annual production of green electricity is about 1.25 million kWh, saving about 406 tons of standard coal and reducing about 1,096 tons of carbon dioxide emissions. The sound social and economic benefits it brings forth will help the capital city achieve the dual carbon goal at an early date.
