On January 29, 2023, the application record of Beijing Energy International’s 100MW rooftop Distributed Photovoltaic Project in Dongguang County, Cangzhou, Hebei Province was approved by Dongguang County Development and Reform Commission and Dongguang Science and Technology Bureau. It marks that the company has taken yet another solid step in rooftop distributed photovoltaic demonstration project.

The project utilizes the roofs of government agencies, industrial and commercial entities and residential buildings. The planned total installed capacity is 100MW. After it is put into production, it is predictably to produce about 130 million kWh of clean and green electricity every year, equivalent to saving about 43,000 tons of standard coal and reducing about 130,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will further promote regional energy transformation, economic development and rural revitalization and help Cangzhou City realize its dual carbon goal at an early date.
