On February 7, 2023, Beijing Energy International’s 701.5 KW Distributed PV Project at Changping Special Police Corps kicked-off. The smooth start of the project marks a solid step of the company in jointly building and sharing green and low-carbon development and blazes the trail for a new modality of cooperation between the police and enterprise.

The project is located on the rooftop of the Special Police Corps of Changping District Public Security Bureau in Beijing, with an area of about 7,400 square meters and a total installed capacity of 701.5 KW. The project adopts the energy management platform mode integrating photovoltaic power generation with smart parking. After it is put into production, it is estimated to generate about 762,000 kWh of power annually, saving about 233 tons of standard coal and reducing about 635 tons of carbon dioxide emissions, which will promote the energy transformation and economic development of the capital city and help Beijing achieve its dual carbon goal earliest possible.
