On February 9, 2023, Liu Dongsheng, vice president of Beijing Energy International visited Li Mangsheng, deputy secretary of Shidian County Committee, party secretary of County Government and county magistrate in Shidian County, Baoshan, Yunnan Province. The two sides exchanged on in-depth cooperation in new energy. He Xinglong, member of the Standing Committee of Shidian County Committee and deputy director of the County Government, Wang Jin’an, deputy director of the Development and Reform Bureau, Wang Yang, financial director of Beijing Energy International, Zhong Yi, general manager of Central China Branch Company and other relevant personnel attended the meeting.

During the meeting, Li Mangsheng welcomed Liu Dongsheng and his delegation and introduced the economic and social development of Shidian County. He said that the county has advantages in location and resources and enjoys great potential in the new energy market. He pointed out that Beijing Energy International is well positioned to develop new energy projects with its professional strength, flexible mechanism and pragmatic dedication. He welcomed the company to invest in local photovoltaic projects and stood ready to provide all-round policy support and service guarantee to contribute to the early realization of the ducal carbon goal in Yunnan Province.

Liu Dongsheng thanked the Shidian County Party Committee and Government for their strong support to the company. He pointed out that Yunnan is an important investment and development place for the company which is fully capitalizing on its specialized advantages, accelerating the development and utilization of photovoltaic resources based on local development needs, and promoting the implementation of the project as soon as possible in various forms, such as integrating photovoltaic power generation with agriculture and/or animal husbandry, and jointly contribute to upgrading local new energy industry, boost regional economic development and deliver both social and economic benefits.
