On July 20, 2023, Beijing Energy International’s 20MW distributed photovoltaic project of Jinyu Fengshan Mine in Changping District, Beijing was successfully registered. According to the relevant planning and the new forms and requirements of ecological restoration of mine, the company puts forward the ecological restoration and industrial transformation plan for the mine, marking its another important achievement in promoting the green and low-carbon transformation and development of energy in the capital city.
The project is located in Wenshuyu Mining Area, Fengshan Mine, Cuicun Town, Changping District, Beijing, with a planned installed capacity of 20MW and an area of about 490 mu (about 32.63 hectares) of industrial and mining land. After it is completed, it is estimated to produce about 26 million kWh of green electricity every year, equivalent to saving about 7,800 tons of standard coal and reducing about 24,900 tons of carbon dioxide. It will deliver good economic, social and environmental benefits and support the capital city in energy supply and green development.
