On November 29, 2023, the 26th Beijing Hong Kong Economic Cooperation Symposium (hereinafter referred to as the “Symposium”) themed “deepen cooperation for a shared future” was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Huang Hui, vice president and CFO of Beijing Energy International, attended the event on behalf of the company.
At the Industrial Co-operation Forum/Special Promotion Event of “Invest in Beijing” during the event, Beijing Energy International signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Bank of East Asia (China) Limited. According to the agreement, the bank will provide a total of RMB 3 billion to Beijing Energy International for intended cooperation. The two sides will establish a cooperation mechanism to strengthen the depth of cooperation in domestic and foreign clean energy projects and cross-border financial services.
The symposium was held offline in Hong Kong after a lapse of five years and was highly valued by all parties. It aims to focus on the advantageous areas of Beijing and Hong Kong, expand and deepen exchanges and cooperation in key areas and achieve high-level mutual benefit and win-win results between Beijing and Hong Kong. Leaders of Beijing, district and relevant units, Hong Kong organizers and entrepreneurs attended and witnessed the signing.
