On December 28, Zhu Jun, president of Beijing Energy International, met with Ding Wei, deputy secretary of Qinhuangdao Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Qinhuangdao City in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province, and the two sides exchanged views on in-depth cooperation in the field of new energy.

At the meeting, Ding Wei welcomed Zhu Jun and introduced the basic situation, industrial planning and advantages of Qinhuangdao. He hoped that Beijing Energy International would further strengthen the communication mechanism on the basis of the preliminary work of the project, fully capitalize on the advantages of both sides, accelerate the implementation of the project for mutual benefit and win-win result, and jointly facilitate the city’s all-round development and the earlier realization of the dual carbon goal of Hebei Province.

Zhu Jun introduced the development course, industrial layout and future planning of Beijing Energy International, and thanked Qinhuangdao for its long-term support and help. He said that as a pilot SOE for mixed ownership reform in Beijing, the company enjoys a flexible and efficient mechanism and a strong development momentum and fosters a development pattern of “dual-circle, one-center and one-focus”. The company attaches great importance to the new energy market in Hebei and will continue to use its specialized advantages and industrial synergy to increase the investment in new energy in Qinhuangdao and help upgrade local new energy industry and enhance social and economic benefits.
