On November 14, Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, along with Zou Shengping, Party Secretary and Chairman of PowerChina Jiangxi Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd., Wang Yong, Chairman of Haitai Solar, Feng Wenming, Chairman of Kunshan Fengrui Textile Co., Ltd., and Leng Jinggang, Director of the Cotton Spinning Association of the China National Textile and Apparel Council (CNTAC), visited Ulanqab City in Inner Mongolia. The delegation met with Qi Feiyun, Deputy Secretary of the Ulanqab Municipal Party Committee and Mayor of Ulanqab, to discuss deepening cooperation in clean energy and other fields.
During the meeting, Zhang Ping expressed gratitude to the Ulanqab Municipal Government for its strong support of Beijing Energy International and provided a comprehensive overview of the company’s operations and key projects in the city. He emphasized that Ulanqab remains a critical strategic development hub for the company. It is committed to advancing major projects, including hydrogen production from solar and wind energy, energy storage, and the construction of a smart zero-carbon textile industrial park, thereby contributing to the city’s transition to green, low-carbon energy. Additionally, Zhang pledged to work closely with strategic partners to leverage collective strengths, expedite the implementation of projects, and contribute to the region’s economic and social development.
Qi Feiyun welcomed the delegation of four companies and the Cotton Spinning Association. She highlighted the city’s abundant wind and solar resources, strategic location, vibrant economic development, and immense potential, describing it as an ideal destination for investment and business development. She expressed hope for strengthened communication and collaboration between local government and enterprises, aiming to broaden areas of cooperation and accelerate the implementation of impactful projects. Qi assured the delegation that Ulanqab would provide all-round support and create favorable environment for companies operating in the city.
All parties reaffirmed their commitment to using the meeting as a foundation for building a strong, practical, and long-term partnership. Looking ahead, they plan to pursue diverse collaborations with the city, guided by principles of high standards, advanced technologies, high profitability, added value, and robust energy conservation and environmental protection. Together, they aim to achieve broader, deeper, and more comprehensive mutual benefits, fostering a win-win relationship.
