On December 24, Beijing Energy International was invited to participate in the Sustainable Development (ESG) Conference for Power Construction held by the China Electric Power Construction Association (CEPCA). The REIT issued by Beijing Energy International was awarded as one of the first power engineering ESG evaluation pilot projects. 

The conference released the group standard for “ESG Evaluation of Power Engineering Projects,” which, for the first time at the project level, specifies the ESG evaluation indicators and principles for different types of power engineering projects. The REIT will participate as one of the first pilot projects in the inaugural round of ESG evaluation for power engineering projects. This inclusion not only acknowledges the company’s past achievements in ESG efforts but also signifies the full recognition of its influence and professional capability within the industry. Moving forward, the company will continue to deepen the application of ESG principles in project operations and management, contributing to the sustainable development of the power industry.
