On April 8, the 2.74MW distributed photovoltaic project developed by Beijing Energy International in the Liandong Biomedical Industry Base, Daxing District, Beijing, was successfully connected to the power grid. This project marks another successful investment and implementation of a new energy initiative under the company’s strategic positioning of “Serving Beijing.”
Located in the Liandong U Valley Industrial Park within the Biomedical Industry Base of Daxing District, the project has a total installed capacity of 2.74MW and operates under the model of “self-generation for self-use, with surplus power fed into the grid.” Once operational, it is expected to generate nearly 2.8748 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, which is equivalent to saving about 883 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 2,760 tons. The project delivers both social and economic benefits and contributes to building a clean, low-carbon, safe, and efficient modern energy system in the capital.
