On February 3, the 24MW distributed photovoltaic project of Longyang Industrial Park in Baoshan, Yunnan Province was connected to the grid for power generation. This project is the first distributed photovoltaic project connected to the grid in Baoshan by Beijing Energy International to deeply cultivate local market and promote the development layout of local new energy business. It is also the largest user-side distributed photovoltaic project in Baoshan.
The project is located in Longyang Industrial Park, Baoshan, Yunnan Province. The photovoltaic modules are installed on the idle roofs of industrial parks, and efficient N-type modules are adopted, with a total installed capacity of 24MW. The commissioning of the project has realized a new energy utilization mode integrating a power plant above and a factory below in the park, which will help the value-added utilization of the park’s stock assets, reduce the operating costs of businesses in the park and help the park achieve green transformation, upgrading and high-quality development.
After the project is launched into operation, it is estimated that 40.2 million kWh of green electricity will be generated annually, equivalent to saving 12,000 tons of standard coal, reducing about 33,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions and 1.1 tons of soot emissions. It has remarkable economic and social benefits and contributes to the construction of a clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient modern energy system in Baoshan.
