Beijing Energy International, through its subsidiary Beijing Jingneng International Integrated Smart Energy Company, successfully won the bid for the Guangling District State Grid Innovation and Entrepreneurship Integrated Energy Project in Yangzhou, Jiangsu, on March 20. This project marks the company’s first integrated energy project in the province, signaling a breakthrough in its “energy storage +” integrated energy business in the Yangtze River Delta region.
By comprehensively analyzing the energy consumption characteristics and customer demands of the park, the project provides a full set of solutions including photovoltaics, energy storage, cooling and heating supply, and green electricity. Faced with the diversity and complexity of integrated energy, targeted new evaluation and analysis methods have been designed to support project system design and investment analysis. The project also predicts the fluctuations of various energy loads, establishes load forecasting models, and provides data-based decision-making assistance for subsequent optimal operations.
Once operational, the project is expected to produce approximately 2.78 million kilowatt-hours of green electricity annually, saving about 853 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by approximately 2,668 tons. It will provide support for building a “zero-carbon park” and “smart park” for the State Grid Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park and play a positive demonstrative role in the company’s efforts to build an integrated energy brand.
