On May 17, Beijing Energy International’s Lejin 0.8MW Distributed Photovoltaic Project in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BETDA) successfully connected to power grid.
Located within the Yiqing Daily Chemicals Park of the Optoelectronic Base in the BETDA, this project has an installed capacity of 0.8 MW and operates under “self-use with excess electricity uploading to the grid” mode. Once operational, the project is expected to produce approximately 940,000 kWh of green electricity annually, equivalent to saving about 300.8 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 803 tons each year. The project offers both social and economic benefits and will further promote energy security and green development in the capital city.
