On May 26, Beijing Energy International was invited to participate in the “Shandong Week in Hong Kong and Macau” event hosted by the Shandong Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government. Zhang Ping, Chairman of the Board of Beijing Energy International, attended the event in Hong Kong on behalf of the company.

During the event, Yan Jianbo, Secretary of the Weihai Municipal Party Committee, and his delegation visited the Hong Kong headquarters of Beijing Energy International for exchanges. Cheng Chuanqi, Senior Vice President of Wanbang Digital Energy Co., Ltd. and CEO of the Energy Storage Company, accompanied them for the research tour.

At the meeting, all three parties agreed that Beijing Energy International, the Weihai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, and Wanbang Digital Energy are highly aligned in development philosophies in the green and low-carbon field. They have established a solid foundation for cooperation through past projects and see vast potential for future collaboration. Moving forward, the parties will enhance communication and coordination, using this signed project as a starting point to build consensus and advance together, setting a benchmark for Beijing-Shandong cooperation and contributing positively to Weihai’s achievement of its dual carbon goals.
